Rocket City Volleyball Club

Is your player interested in learning the basic volleyball skills?  Introduce your child to the game through our Rising Stars program for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Four to six sessions will be held each month from December 2009 through April 2010.  Cost is $40 per month (payment due on the 5th of each month).  Make sure you complete your child's registration information on rcvc.net.  The Rising Stars coach is Judith Shaver (judith.shaver@sungard.com) assisted by an RCVC veteran, Jordan Owens.

Reduced court size

Lowered net

Lighter ball

Proper warm-up and stretches

Learn fundamental volleyball skills

Skills reinforced with fun games

Last 15 to 25 minutes of each session will include game play
