Hopefully you will find the answers you are seeking below. If not, please send us an email through the "Contact Us" page. (1) Why RCVC? RCVC's motto is "Developing Players and Building Success." We have successfully operated in the Huntsville/North Alabama area for over 16 years. Players are encouraged to participate with a team/club that they feel comfortable with. Our mission is to: -- Develop interest in the game throughout the North Alabama community -- Support players as they learn the game and develop skills -- Encourage leadership skills and teamwork -- Support players that are interested in playing at the collegiate level (2) What "Levels of Play" are offered? RCVC offers three "levels of play" -- Developmental, Club and Power Developmental (age group: 10 and under) The Developmental level is designed for the young player, ages 7 to 10, who wants to learn the skills require to play the game as well as to learn the game itself. Practices will be once a week and the team will be offered to opportunity to play in one or two local tournaments. Club (age group: 10s through 18s) Club level teams offer an opportunity for players to expand their skills and to prepare for their school seasons. At this level you will experience less travel and cost than the Power level. Players will be exposed to great competition and skills building. Players should anticipate two practices per week. Power (age group: 12s through 18s) While requiring a much larger committment of time and finances, this level of involvement will give the player the opportunity to take their skills to the highest level. Power teams work extensively on building skills, teamwork, and game strategy. Players will experience travel outside of the Southeast at this level of play. Practices are mandatory and more frequent at this level.
